On-line Internet Ambulatory Payment Classification (APC) group calculator
permits the user to calculate the payment rate for all APCs for any of the
more than 4600 ASCs in the US. You simply select from a pull-down list the
Medicare-approved surgery center you want APC information on, enter the
HCPCS codes you are interested in and the calculator automatically looks up
the APC Payment Rates. Return to it as often as you want for as long as you
want.
This is free to members of SURGICAL OUTCOMES. Simply log in using the boxes
on the left. Non-members may purchase access to the APC Calculator using
the button on the left and a credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American
Express).
When you use the APC Calculator, you can:
Calculate the Medicare payment for all Medicare APCs -- both the
ones you currently provide and others you are considering providing
Conduct strategic planning for new services including calculating
competitor APC payment rates compared to yours
